This course is the in-person skills evaluation portion of the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode ACLS Blended Learning program.

Students must complete the HeartCode ACLS online course through the AHA prior to attending the skills session. The online component covers all didactic content, testing, and simulations. This in-person session focuses exclusively on hands-on skills practice, megacode testing, and instructor evaluation.

During the skills session, students will demonstrate proficiency in:

  • High-quality CPR and airway management

  • Cardiac rhythm recognition and ACLS algorithms

  • Team dynamics and megacode performance

Successful completion of both the online HeartCode ACLS course and this in-person skills session is required to receive an AHA ACLS Provider eCard.

📌 Important: This is not a traditional lecture-based ACLS course. No classroom instruction or written exams are provided during the skills session.

Students who arrive without proof of completed HeartCode ACLS online training will not be permitted to participate and will need to reschedule.

Same-Day eCard Issuance: Students receive their AHA ACLS Provider eCard the same day upon successful completion of all course requirements.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

This American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS course is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. The course covers high-performance team dynamics, effective communication, airway management, pharmacology, ECG interpretation, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care.

Whether you're a first-time student or renewing your certification, this hands-on course prepares you to respond confidently to critical situations in hospital or prehospital settings.

Course includes:

  • Expert-led instruction

  • Hands-on skills practice

  • Written and skills testing

  • AHA ACLS certification card (valid for 2 years)

This American Heart Association BLS course teaches high-quality CPR, AED use, airway skills, and effective team response for healthcare settings. Required for hospital employment and clinical rotations. Open to first-time and renewal students. Certification is issued at the end of class. All materials provided — no prerequisites.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course
This American Heart Association course is perfect for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a certification for work or wants to be prepared in an emergency. You’ll learn how to perform CPR, use an AED, and provide basic first aid for sudden illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening situations. This class is ideal for teachers, coaches, daycare staff, construction workers, and more.

  • Pediatric Respiratory, Shock, and Cardiac Emergencies

  • Team dynamics and megacode performance

Successful completion of both the online HeartCode PALS course and this in-person skills session is required to receive an AHA ACLS Provider eCard.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course
This American Heart Association PALS course is designed for healthcare providers who respond to pediatric emergencies. Learn how to assess and manage critically ill infants and children, including advanced airway management, recognition of respiratory failure and shock, and effective team dynamics during pediatric resuscitation. This course is ideal for paramedics, nurses, physicians, and other medical professionals working in emergency or critical care settings.
